AMITABHA

Amitabha is the Buddha of Infinite Light. He represents the transmutation of desire into discriminating wisdom. He is the head figure of the lotus family, his colour is ruby red, and he is known as the Buddha of the Western direction. Unless otherwise stated, statues are finished to a dark bronze colour and partially gold plated. The faces are hand painted using paints enriched with gold.
