X006 now out of stock!
Click Here The Chod Drum is a large double-sided hand held drum. 'Chod' literally means 'cutting' or 'destroying'; and Chod practice is a method of Puja and meditation for offering one's own body to cut away the four demons within. Machik Labdron received the chod teachings from the Indian Teacher Padampa Sangye and from Kyoton Sonam Lama and propagated them in Tibet.

Here we offer two quality options:

X006: £130. This drum approx 26.5 cms diameter; 12.5 cms wide and made from Himalayan hardwood.

X007: £120. This drum approx 26.0 cms (10 inches - our recommended size) diameter; 11.5 cms wide and made from Himalayan hardwood.

Both drums are finished to the same high standard and come with fine silk brocade tail and hand embroidered carrying case. We strive very hard to bring you quality products which are needed by practitioners. These are the best chod drums we have seen on our buying trips. The skin should maintain its tightness unlike other drums on the market.
