    Making an Order:

    We accept payment by credit/debit card, cheque (payable to Garuda Trading) or postal order.

    To make an order, please select one of the following methods:

    1/ Simply phone up with your order; we can accept credit cards details over the phone.

    2/ Use the 'shopping basket' facility (see below) on the site to collate your order. Follow this up by:

    a. continuing with the screen menus to provide your credit card details and sending these to us with your order via our highly secure server.
    b. sending a cheque to the above address.
    c. phoning up with details of your credit card.

    3/ Use the 'shopping basket' facility to print off your order and send it to us together with a cheque or with details of your credit card.


    The Shopping Basket Facility:
    * Each item on the site has a window into which you can enter how many of these you wish to purchase and an order button showing a Shopping Basket icon.

    * Click this button to add the item to your Shopping Basket.

    * This does not commit you to buy that item but gives you a running total of your provisional purchases and possible expenditure.

    * You can see the contents of your basket by clicking the ' Basket' link at the top of every page.

    * On viewing the contents of your Shopping Basket, you can remove any or all items you have selected.

    * Once you are satisfied with your selection of items, click the 'Checkout' button to determine the total cost of your purchase including any delivery charges.

    * Click on the 'next' button so you can enter your details and then press the 'CREATE ORDER' button to provide you with an order form that can be printed out using your normal print function.

    *Click on the 'next' button if you wish to enter details of your credit card and send these together with your order via our highly secure internet connection.


    Packing and Postage:



    Please Note:
    Heavy items eg. prayer cushions, rupas and thangkas may require an extra charge on the postage in order to cover costs. If this is the case, we will e-mail you with details prior to processing the order.

    UK

    Under £50: £3.50.
    £50 - £100: £5.50.
    Over £100: Free.

    Europe

    Under £50: £7.50*
    £50 - £100: £11.50*
    Over £100: £15.50*

    * Items are sent airmail unless the weight of the package is such that the shown rates do not cover the cost of postage and insurance. In this case we may contact you with a revised cost for airmail so that you can decide whether the items should be sent by surface mail (at the shown cost) or by airmail (at the revised cost).

    USA and Rest of World
    Under £50: £10.50*
    £50 - £100: £14.00*
    Over £100: £17.50*

    * Items are sent airmail unless the weight of the package is such that the shown rates do not cover the cost of postage and insurance. In this case we will contact you with a revised cost for airmail so that you can decide whether the items should be sent by surface mail (at the shown cost) or by airmail (at the revised cost).

    NB Customers outside European Union may be liable to import tax.


    Delivery:

    We are normally able to despach goods within 3 days of receiving an order. Exceptionally, an order may take longer to complete and in such circumstances we will notify you as soon as this becomes apparent.


    Returns Policy:

    We want you to be happy with your purchase. If any item is damaged on arrival, please contact us immediately. And if in any other way you are dissatisfied with the goods, you may return the item(s) within 5 days of you taking delivery. We will refund the purchase price and, where the item has been damaged in transit, the cost of your postage. Books and music CD's may not be returned unless they are damaged.


    If You Cannot Find What You Want:

    Please contact us if there is any item that you cannot find on our website. It is possible that we may have the item in our shop or we will endeavour to find the item during our next visit to Nepal. We have very good contacts with a wide range of artisans and suppliers at hand.


    Wholesale Terms:

    We offer highly favourable wholesale rates. If you are a retail outlet and would like to stock some of our goods, please contact us so that we can discuss your needs.
